Last month research by Experian showed that less people were using Yellow Pages and other traditional methods of advertising like newspapers and magazines to find services and products and were using the internet instead. If your practice cannot easily be found by people looking for acupuncture treatment in Cambridge, then they will be calling the practices of the people who’s websites are easily found.

A recent study showed that 95% of people looking for a service did not click past the first page in the search engines, and 85% of all clicks were on the websites in the first 3 positions. In the UK in January 2011 90.53% of all searches done on the internet were done through Google. Can you afford not to be seen on the first page of the search engines?

Our website www.acupuncturecambridge.co.uk has already had all the hard work done on it to help it reach the top, or thereabouts, of the major search engines. It has taken nearly 18 months of regular tweaking and link building, and you can have it today!

As it stands, it’s not a pretty website, don’t worry about that, it will all be changed. Don’t worry about the content on it at the moment, we had to put something there to let the search engines know that this site was about acupuncture in Cambridge.

There are two ways you can use this site to get your practice noticed; you can put all of your details on the site (you can change the style and layout, and we can build you half a dozen pages or so, with your details, information on acupuncture, contact page etc).  If you want a really fancy website we are very happy to work with your web designer.

The other way you can use this site is for us to tell Google, and the other search engines, that www.acupuncturecambridge.co.uk has moved to your site, and all of the links, and other clever stuff we’ve done over the last 18 months will go to your site, your site will then head for the first page of Google instead! (A quick warning, 9 times out of 10 this happens within a week or two, but just occasionally it can take longer.)

I expect by now you are asking yourself, that this all sounds great, but how much is it going to cost me? I’ve been checking websites of Search Engine Optimisation companies, and to get your site on the first page of Google could easily cost you anything between £500 – £1000 / month for a 12 month contract – that’s up to £12,000 in a year + VAT = £14,400!
